Question 97: (June 27th, 2015) Answer

Answer:59 and 61.
This is very simple and easy question if we understand the requirement.
As we know, the LCM (Least Common Multiple) of 2,3,4,5,6 (which is 60) is divisible by all the numbers from 2 to 6.
To get a remainder 1 all the time when divided by number 2 to 6, we need to add 1 to the LCM.
So 61 is the age of second person.
Similarly, when 1 is subtracted from LCM, the resulting number gives a remainder 1 less than the divisor itself.
In our case 59 when divided by 2,3,4,5,6 gives remainders 1,2,3,4,5 respectively.
So 59 is the age of first person.
